SECURITY 101 designed, engineered and deployed a portable video over mesh radio wireless network for the special investigations department. This solution was designed with extreme versatility and with expandability in mind. This initial phase is the beginning a city wide solution using the FireTide Mesh Radio Network as the system backbone. The system allows the Ft Lauderdale Police Department the ability to quickly set up mobile cameras throughout the city and the flexibility for viewing & recording video either back at the head end of the FLPD HQ or out in the field. All mobile and fixed IP cameras are configured over a secure wireless network. This entire solution is digital. There is no analog to digital conversion at any point. This allows for higher definition video with no losses. All cameras are producing high definition 640X480 video at up to 30fps. The initial system was designed with 8 portable cameras and is now in a growth stage with more wireless cameras being added as well as mesh radio sites with the end result being the ability to deploy a wireless camera in any part of the FLPD’s jurisdiction as well as the possibility for the Broward Sheriffs Office to share or add to the existing wireless Mesh Network/Video surveillance and recording system.

Embraer Aircraft

SECURITY 101 has an ongoing agreement with Embraer to provide priority quality service for all locations throughout North America. The system is a WAN based Access Control Solution with locations locally and across the United States communicating back to the head end in Fort Lauderdale FL. The system consists of access readers, cameras and alarm systems all communicating back to a single user interface.

Cox Communications Inc.

SECURITY 101 has completed several projects over the past
two years with CCI. These projects have varied in size and
location ranging form $20K to $500K. We support the entire
Southeast including Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kansas and
the Carolinas. The configuration for each of these projects
were managed and implemented by SECURITY 101 as the
primary contractor.

St. Mary’s Hospital-Athens, GA

SECURITY 101 has completed the Women’s Addition to St. Mary’s
hospital to include all necessary wiring, conduit as built drawings
for the installation and configuration of Closed Circuit Television
and Access Control. This project required the involvement of the
hospital IT group to oversee the initial required testing of hardware on the local area network to ensure proper function and operation.
