Demus Oxford
General Manager
Demus Oxford is the General Manager of Security 101 – Richmond and Norfolk (Hampton Roads) location. With more than 15 years of experience as a Senior IT and Project Manager at Altria, Demus has gained leadership experience through managing multiple teams and projects within a wide range of applications from development to deployment. He has a proven track record in the management of project execution, budgets, and regularly exceeding stakeholder expectations. He is a Certified Project Manager (PMP).
Demus is a member of the Richmond Chapter of ASIS, currently serving as the Membership Chairman. Demus is also a member of the Chesterfield County Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee.
Steven Duke
Account Executive
Steven Duke is an Account Executive for Security 101 Richmond. Steven has ten years of experience in the security industry. Before joining Security 101 in 2021, he was Manager of Corporate Security and Facilities at Owens & Minor. Steven’s experiences as an end-user give him a unique advantage as an account executive. He is skilled in analyzing the security needs of a business, security system design, financial analysis, and project management.
Steven currently serves as the Vice President of the Richmond Chapter of ASIS and is a member of IFMA.
Carl Quick
Project Manager
Carl Quick is the Project Manager for Security 101 – Richmond. He has over 12 years’ experience integrating Access Control, CCTV, Burglary, and Fire Systems. In the past he maintained diversified roles with some of Virginia’s largest electronic security companies. He brings with him a long history of installation and technical expertise in systems such as Honeywell, RBH, Avigilon, Silent Knight, Bosch, UTC Fire & Security, DMP, Pelco, AMAG and many other industry leading manufactures. Outstanding customer service and exceptional quality are his top priorities.
Bill Tilghman
Project Manager
Bill Tilghman is a Project Manager for Security 101 – Richmond. He started in the electrical industry as a card carrying Journeyman for 8 years and now has over 20 years’ experience in the Security industry integrating Access Control, Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm Systems. His experience ranges from smaller systems such as Ademco, DMP, etc. to much larger scale enterprise systems such as AMAG, Lenel, Honeywell, Software House as well as many other leading manufacturers. He has a passion and talent for aligning security plans, processes, policies, and procedures with security standards and operational goals. Bill has proven experience directing all phases of complex projects while, managing, motivating, and mentoring team members to ensure the end result meets, or exceeds, all expectations.
