Security 101 – New York Metro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to drive new business growth and expand market presence in the commercial electronic security integration space. The ideal candidate is a proven sales producer with a track record of generating $2M+ in annual revenue through new client acquisition and strong relationship management. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and developing new customer opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. The Account Executive will promote Security 101’s advanced security solutions, including access control, VMS, and intrusion detection, through strategic outreach, industry networking, and consultative sales approaches.
Salary:
Total compensation package ranges from $160,000+, (includes base salary, commissions on gross revenue, bonuses, and no earnings cap. Commensurate with skills, security industry experience, and product knowledge. Skills/Abilities:
- 5+ years of proven success selling commercial electronic security solutions (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection) and related technology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of leading access control, VMS, and intrusion detection solutions (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Software House, ProWatch, DMP), and how they integrate across enterprise environments.
- Goal-oriented professional with a consultative sales approach, high energy, and a competitive spirit to exceed targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and account planning.
- Demonstrated success exceeding quotas and driving year-over-year revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Adept at identifying client pain points, creating tailored security solutions, and building long-term strategic relationships.
- Conducts thorough site assessments to scope system installations and service opportunities, prepares proposals/RFPs, and negotiates contracts to close business.
- Works closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure seamless implementation and post-sale support.
- Develops and executes strategic plans to grow assigned territory or named accounts, including new business acquisition and account retention.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to influence key decision-makers at multiple organizational levels.
- Drives recurring revenue through upsells, service contracts, and renewals, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- 4-year degree preferred
