Embedded Service Technician

Security 101 – New York Metro is now recruiting for an Embedded Service Technician that has 3 to 5 years of strong experience servicing commercial electronic security access control, and video management systems with certification or high proficiency working with Software House Ccure 9000 and ExacqVision.
Salary:
This is a full-time exempt position with an annual salary range between $80k and $95k, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience. Skills/Abilities:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in troubleshooting and programming Software House and ExacqVision systems, including working on the customer’s network.
- Ideally lives within the 5 boroughs of New York City.
- Alternative experience such as a multi-site Network Support Specialist or similar.
- Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism.
- Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
- Fluid schedule with some travel.

Responsibilities:
- Servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of Software house Ccure 9000 access control, and ExacqVision video management is a Must.
- Troubleshooting and programming networked IP video systems.
- Troubleshooting and programming networked access control.
- Servicing commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT connected systems.
- Providing fanatical customer service when dealing with customers.
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
