Security 101 – Corporate is now recruiting a Senior Staff Accountant. We are a rapidly growing security services business headquartered in Palm Beach County and provide its services to clients across the national footprint. The business is operating in partnership with a well-capitalized private equity firm with the intent to grow the business via strategic acquisitions and organic growth. Salary:

Skills/Abilities:
- Has a minimum of five (5) years similar work experience in accounting is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in NetSuite.
- Public accounting firm experience desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.) beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at varying levels within the organization – both in written and verbal form – necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting the Controller with the monthly financial reporting closing process, schedule, and tasks.
- Assists the Accounting team with reconciling and reporting on A/R and A/P control accounts.
- Maintains and reconciles most balance sheet subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies including but not limited to fixed assets, inventory, deferred revenue and work-in-progress assets and liabilities.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing detailed and related account information.
- Performs other key accounting tasks and procedures to support the Company’s financial reporting function.
- Supports both the Controller and FPA Manager in preparing variance analysis and works with operations organization to provide and validate variance explanations.
- Supports the Controller with evaluating and managing the control environment and assists with the development of process and procedures to improve the underlying financial and operating control environment.
- Assists manager of FP&A in developing and capturing key metrics and analysis.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
