While facing some challenges, the industry is projected to continue its recovery in 2025. The sector's growth is expected to be driven by innovation in fintech and the need for specialized financial products (University of Hartford), creating new opportunities for security integration in this data-sensitive industry.
Information Technology and Cybersecurity
Connecticut's IT sector is experiencing rapid growth, particularly in cybersecurity. The state has seen a notable increase in tech jobs, with industries like healthcare administration, manufacturing, and finance increasingly relying on advanced IT solutions. This sector's expansion creates a parallel demand for robust cybersecurity measures, aligning perfectly with the services offered by commercial security integrators.
