Nancy Ford
Owner, President
Nancy Ford is the Owner & President of Security 101 in Utah. Nancy has over 30 year’s professional Technology leadership experience with major fortune 500 companies, such as American Express and IBM. Nancy served as the Director of Global Disaster Recovery for the American Express. Previously, she served as the CIO for the American Express Bank. Nancy is licensed and Certified as an Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
Implemented GSA government Contract, with over 50 contracts awarded for the Army, Airforce, Navy, Coast Guard, VA Hospitals, and the Florida State Lottery (8 geographical locations).
Nancy served on the board of directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). After serving 2 years on the FAA Drone Committee, developing integration of UAS into the National Airspace, she was appointed as the Chair for the Counter Drone Committee in 2021, reporting to the FAA for the Security Industry. Nancy is an FAA Licensed Pilot and actively serves in the community supporting non-profit organizations.
Rob Ford
Vice President
Rob is the co-owner of Security 101 in Utah. He has over 25 years leading global enterprise teams that manage complex systems with IBM. Rob has over 30 years of advanced technical expertise in server architecture, data center management, infrastructure and physical security. Rob has Advanced Certification in Milestone, Honeywell, ONSSI, and AXIS IP Video Surveillance as well as expert experience in server and security automation with Dell, HP, and IBM. He is a licensed Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), and Microsoft Certified Professional. Rob is also an FAA-licensed pilot. His unique ability to bridge communication between customers and technical professionals has contributed to success serving large customers such as Morgan Stanley, American Express, and Williams Energy.
Tim Rose
General Manager
Tim Rose is an industry expert with over 40 years of experience in the electronic security industry including financial institution security, Department of Defense SCIFs, Commercial and industrial video, access control and intrusion detection systems deployed in local, networked, proprietary and cloud-based monitoring.
Tim provides technical expertise in design / engineering concepts for optimum impact. His deep knowledge and certification across all our product lines as well has his strong relationships with our manufactures makes him extremely valuable to creating the best-in-class solutions for each of our projects.
Tim provides strong leadership and motivational skills in addition to a focus on customer satisfaction. Maximize quality assurance through compliance with regulatory guidelines and training initiatives. Unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, with the ability to build productive relationships, resolve complex issues, and win customer loyalty.
He manages all Government contracting and final implementation approval to ensure all standards and objectives are met.
Chris Burningham
Key Account Manager/Security Consultant
Chris is a Security Consultant for Security 101’s key customer accounts. He works closely with our most valued clients to ensure that all projects provide the most value and have the right level of Design Architecture for the environment. He has been with Security 101 for over 8 years and brings a wealth of technical knowledge with him from previous physical security roles in the industry. He manages Strategic Security Consulting; leveraging years of expertise. His tenure working in all segments of the security industry provides unique expert-level knowledge and insight. Chris works closely with our clients to develop risk-based solutions that support their long-term security roadmap. He balances the technology investment with security provisioning by developing solutions that are specific to a client’s vulnerabilities.
Chris has designed complex solutions for several companies that include corporate Fortune 100 companies, government facilities, hospitals, universities, airports, religious organizations, retail, and critical infrastructure. He also holds several Security Solution Certifications.
Chris Pietrzak
Director of Operations
Chris is our Director of Operations and one of our Lead Engineers at Security 101. For the past decade, Chris has experience covering all types of systems including Access Control, CCTV, System integration, Burglar Alarms, Data & Voice, Programming and Fire systems. His ability to provide security consulting to our clients supports specific risk-based strategies for protecting their people, facilities and assets. Chris is certified in numerous products that we install and support.
From Service Manager to Director of Operations, Chris’ depth of experience in systems integration and project management has enabled on-time and cost-effective delivery of large projects. Chris’ strong leadership and strategic planning skills make him a key asset in overseeing the company’s daily managerial and organizational functions. He is responsible for the ground-up installations starting with Sales Engineering at the proposal stage, and partnering with the project team through the install, final testing, and training. Chris provides excellent support to the leadership team, keeps one-on-one focus on his operations team, as well as maintains service from end to end with customer collaboration to align on requirements and with exceptional delivery.
