Integrators and dealers used to stick with what they knew when it came to electronic access control...electronics. In turn, they would subcontract a locksmith to handle the "hardware" component. In today's world, things are changing. It makes sense for many companies to start handling all of this themselves, which means doing the complete installation from electric strikes, magnetic locks to the most common, electrified locks.
This type of work used to get subcontracted out, but the economy has made companies get motivated to do this kind of work themselves.
